DRAGON MODELS LTD. ENTERS A NEW ERA!

Dragon Models Ltd. is entering a new chapter in its long history.

After decades of building a respected legacy in scale models, collectibles, historical research, and precision product development, DML is now evolving toward a future focused on Intellectual Property (IP), 3D technology, digital assets, licensing, and new forms of collaboration.

Our foundation remains the same: authenticity, technical accuracy, detailed research, and a deep respect for the history behind every subject we create. As the industry continues to change, DML will continue to explore new ways to bring its brand, knowledge, 3D data, and creative assets into future applications across physical and digital platforms.

We are grateful to the collectors, retailers, partners, research experts and friends who have supported Dragon over the years, and we look forward to building the next era of DML together!

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Dragon Models Ltd. and Zimi Model Technology Co., Ltd. are pleased to announce that Zimi Model has acquired selected scale model kit mould assets from Dragon Models Ltd. This transaction marks an important new chapter for both companies: allowing selected classic Dragon tooling assets to continue reaching the global modeling community, while Dragon Models Ltd. continues its evolution toward intellectual property, 3D technology, digital assets, licensing, and future creative applications.

Moving forward, Zimi Model will independently launch, operate, and manage the relevant product lines under its newly established exclusive brand, DRAMi Model. As part of Zimi Model’s brand portfolio, DRAMi Model has been established with the aim of carrying forward the spirit long associated with Dragon’s classic model products: quality, fine detail, authenticity, and respect for historical accuracy.

All future product development, production planning, sales, distribution, and market operations relating to DRAMi Model will be fully managed and undertaken by Zimi Model. Dragon Models Ltd. is proud of the legacy built through these classic mould assets and extends its best wishes for the future development of DRAMi Model under Zimi Model’s ownership and independent operation.

Both parties sincerely thank the global modeling community, collectors, distributors, retailers, research partners, and industry partners for their long-standing trust and support, and look forward to seeing these classic model products continue to serve the market in this new chapter.

Katalog Zimi Model / DRAMi Model

Pojawiła się wrzutka katalogu Zimi Model na sezon 2026-2027, w którym marka DRAMi Model zajmuje 22 strony, a boxarty są powieleniem tych z pudełek Dragona i Cyber Hobby. Niestety, jakość nie powala, więc publikowanie tego katalogu mija się z celem.

W sekcji lotniczej widać wiele dawno zapomnianych modeli w skalach 1/144 (63 pozycje) i 1/200 (16 pozycji), ale trzeba pamiętać, że wiele z nich ma już ponad ćwierć wieku. Widać też modele w skalach 1/32 (13 pozycji) i 1/48 (32 pozycje, w tym dwa zestawy figurek Luftwaffe), natomiast nie ma samolotów w skali 1/72.

W sekcji pancernej widać właściwie tylko pojazdy w skali 1/35, wliczając część modeli kolejowych. Nie widać figurek, nie ma też pojazdów w skali 1/72. Jest za to trochę pudełek przypominających białą serię Cyber Hobby, więc być może poszukujący tych modeli będą mogli kupić je taniej.

Nie pokazano również żadnych okrętów, modeli kosmicznych oraz wielu innych mniej popularnych serii.
